West Midlands National Park Lab

2023 Awards

The WMNP Awards programme, is designed to support the delivery of the WMNP, by recognising, celebrating and sharing best practice, policy and research.  Judged by an international jury, successful applicants demonstrate excellence in the way their submissions align with the WMNP ethos to create integrated and holistic approaches to the development, transformation and management of our physical and cultural resources, including health and wellbeing, governance, finance, nature, policy and research.

The awards are not about rewarding business as usual, but recognising proposals that are influencing change, catalysing action and informing debate. More simply – projects that have flair, potential, and the ability to make a difference.

The WMNP Awards celebrate organisations, communities and projects that exemplify the West Midlands National Park ethos. The 2022 Awards saw 12 projects, selected from across the region and internationally, as examples of excellence in reimagining our relationship with landscape.

The 2023 WMNP Awards promise to be the biggest and best ever, with a wide range of projects submitted from within the West Midlands, the UK and around the world. This is your opportunity to put your project into the spotlight, assessed by an international panel of judges and celebrated as part of a global shift in our perception, stewardship and championing of the places that we call home.
